They specialize in Piedmont, but also have strong connections to Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Sicily and other provinces. Elena, one of the proprietors, is a native Piemontese with deep knowledge and experience of the Langhe, Alta Langa, Monferrato and the surrounding areas. She has a deep network across the region, which she mines to create custom wine and food adventures throughout the region. These include the standards -- truffle hunts and barolo tastings -- but for the more adventurous gastrotravelers might extend to unique experiences with local cheese producers, up-and-coming winemakers, organic farmers, hazelnut orchards, learning to make your own 'plin', the Barberas of Nizza and the like. The experiences designed for us, have all been top quality. I love how I can provide a wishlist of things we are interested in, and we get a bespoke day filled with activities I would have never been able to find on my own. Highlights have included truffle hunts, cheese tastings and of course visiting some of the best wineries. Additionally on our last visit to Italy, they planned the best cooking class combined with a wine tasting. At Saturday morning Elena picked us up at the hotel and guided us during the day. We started with a great truffle hunt and on our way to this hunt she told us a lot about the region. The truffle hunt was a fantastic experience and the dogs found some! After the hunt Elena took us to an authentic Italian restaurant, where all the locals were enjoying their lunch and where we got a three course lunch (Elena gave us good advice about what to choose). It was delicious! We continued our truffle experience by visiting the truffle market in Alba. All those truffles there; it was amazing! After the market we walked through Alba and Elena was explaining a lot about this beautiful town. At 5 p.m. we were back at the hotel and had some free time for ourselves and to prepare us for a Michelin star diner. Elena, thank you for the great tours, great choice for the restaurants, your nice company and the sharing of all your knowledge about this wonderful region! We will be back! The most perfect day! read less3 months agoDeb PWe had an amazing day with Elena, touring several... read moreWe had an amazing day with Elena, touring several wineries in Langhe, one barbaresco winery, and one barolo winery, with a lovely and delicious lunch in between. It was just the three of us, so our visits at the winery were intimate and very informative. Elena picked us up from our lodging, and took us back at the end of the day. We found her to be very personable, knowledgable and ready to provide advice on whatever else we wanted to do. In retrospect, I would have enjoyed another day with Elena, as she has quite a nice range of experiences to choose from. Our day was curated to be an introduction to the Barolo area, as it was our first time there, but Elena will make your tour whatever you want it to be. Just have to say that her tour really helped us to get the most out of our visit to Piemonte. Estavam sempre disponíveis as nossas necessidades antes , durante e depois da viagem. They had so many different activities and created a personal itinerary for us. It made this part of our trip so easy and stress free. Our tour guide was lovely and so incredibly knowledgeable about the area and local cuisine. We were able to be fully immersed in the regional culture and learned a lot about the history on the way. The vendors that they work with were all great, offering high quality products and 5 star experiences. I wouldn’t plan another trip to Italy without them! Allebei de dagen hebben we echt genoten van alles! Het contact met Elena vooraf was heel prettig. Ze dacht goed mee en heeft speciaal voor mij de wijnproeverij wat aan laten passen naar mijn wensen. Op de dag van de wijnproeverijen kwam ze ons netjes ophalen en wist ons heel veel te vertellen over de regio, geschiedenis, wijnen, etc. Haar kennis is enorm! We hebben echt een fantastische dag gehad.
